Women's Team

Havin' fun at PIR!

8.14.11

The end of Road season is fast approaching, and most of the women have wound down in order to recoup and ramp up again for what looks to be an amazing Cross season.  Most of us, that is, except for Tracy Clow, one of our Development Team riders who is currently in the lead for the Norm Babcock Cat 4 women’s series competition.  With one more race to go in the series(Eugene Celebration), Tracy is looking forward to ending her season with a bang!

Most of our women are riding Cross this year and are excited to get on their nobbies and start rompin’ through Forest Park.  Last year, Sara Fletcher had an amazing Cross season, and ended up taking 2nd place in USGP right here in Portland.  We’re looking to have women participating in all categories, including Beginner, B’s and A’s, so it should be a fun season!

We’ll keep you posted on Tracy and her end results as well as more results and fun to come as the seasons change and the Cyclocross fun begins!!!!

The Therapeutic Associates, Inc., Women’s Cycling Team is a division of the Therapeutic Associates, Inc./Sagebrush Cycles Team based out of Bend and Portland, Oregon. Our riders are based throughout the Willamette Valley.

We are please to announce our roster for the 2011 season.  We are pleased to welcome back 5 members of the team (Karey, Libby, Jess, Jill, and Mackenzie) and are excited for our new additions.  Our elite squad is pretty much set, but we will be open to accepting applications throughout the season.  If you are interested, please contact Karey Swan by email at karey dot miles at gmail dot com.

The TAI elite women’s team is made up of Category 1-2-3 and 4 women from Oregon who are serious amateur cyclists. Team members are asked to commit to a number of OBRA and higher level races at the beginning of the year.  We are looking to build the team with members who are dedicated to cycling, have a solid sense of humor, and who know how to have serious fun. We are beginning to grow our “development team,” and are always interested in taking on Cat 4 women who can grow and develop along side us and hopefully join the Elite level team as they advance through the ranks.
